General Information

The CJOS COE Maritime Conference 2008 will be held in Sorrento, Italy, 12-15 May 2008. The theme of the conference,"Delivering Maritime Security in Global Partnership", builds on the latest Cooperative Strategy for 21st Century Seapower, announced this fall by the United States Chief of Naval Operations in Newport, RI.

The aim of this conference is to provide a forum designed to promote open high level innovative discussion on strategies, technologies and concept initiatives related to the ever expanding challenge of “Delivering Maritime Security in Global Partnership”. At the end of the conference attendees should better understand how they may engage further in Global Maritime Security.
